　　k3修理顛末記

　今回　ｋ３をアメリカまで送り出したのは７／２５日の誘電雷でIC-7700が完全にやられ,12Ｖ安定化電源も壊れたため,それに繋いでいたＫ３まで何となく調子が悪く感じられた為です。

　私のＫ３はＪＡ３のＯＭがアメリカに行かれた際にＷで購入された完成品があるご縁で私のところへ！？
　





それが２００９年の１０月にQSYされてきました。

　グレードアップを図るべく　Elecraft社に注文をしましたが　下記返事が返ってきました。

I looked you up in our data base and show no record of you purchaseing a
K3 from us. Can you please let us know where you purchased your K3 and
your Serial number.

２週間後には部品が到着、その後１ヶ月ぐらいかけ完成させましたが一部Mod　Kitが未完成（パーツが小さいのでよく見えなく工作できない）
　それから　１年以上が経過　上記事件リグの調子が悪いが　ＥＤＣでは修理も受け付けてもらえないため（ここで購入した製品でないためです。）

Erecraft社にこんなメールを！
　私
I want to make k-3 the latest.

I got k-3/100f+kat-3f and built in KRX3, some options by myself.
But It becomes impossible to build in eyesight due to the recent sickness
and to have built in the worsening parts.
Please do building in parts of the remainder(2x K3STFNR, E850235, and
K3AFMDKT )
and a necessary remodeling in your company.

I will pay the parts fee in all necessary remedial measures of course
necessary cost. We will wait for going out and the report.

7/30日　こんな返事か帰って来ました。
Dear Aki,

The minimum service charge is $99.00 ( does not include shipping).

To install these upgrades would be $99.00.

The price would increase if there are other problems that need to be fixed.

Due to the high shipping costs, can you find another HAM in Japan who
could help you so you do not have to return the K3 to the US?

We are happy to do the service for you, but the shipping costs will be
expensive.

Please let me know what you decide. If you want to ship it here to the
US, let us know and we will send you shipping and payment information.

　郵便局からＫ３を航空便で発送　送料は８７００円
もちろん修理品と記入すること（往復とも　関税が掛からないようにするため）

　そしてこの際なので思い切ってＰ３−Ｆも注文してしまった。
送料込みで＄８４９でした。

Your K3 has arrived at Elecraft and is being checked into the service
process within the next 24 hours.

Currently the turn around time to perform service and completely test
your K3 is approximately 2 weeks.

You will be contacted prior to returning your K3 to you by either the
technical staff or sales.

と最終メールが届き　
9/1にはＫ３が帰国してきました。
　その前にはＰ３−Ｆも到着しておりました
　との顛末です。
個人輸入の仕方はお答えできませんが　機械入手後　又は購入後　UPgradeやmodkitの購入の参考になればと私の体験を色々書きました、ご参考になれば幸いです。
　PS:なおつたない英文は翻訳ツールを使用して書きました。
