Yesterday turned out to be a perfect day for 運動会.
It was koharu’s last 運動会 at her elementary school days.
koharu does not like 運動会, for she is slow to run
and is poor at gymnastics.
She is very happy that her 運動会 is over and done with.
All of us, including koharu herself, were surprised that
koharu won the 1st prize in her group of the 100m race.
koharu’s parents, koharu’s brother and I are all slow runners.
We have never won the footrace!
You made it, Granddaughter!
