Today koharu’s parents celebrated
their china wedding.
Twenty years have passed
since they got married!
Time really flies.
I hope their days will be as happy as ever.
I know I am happy because they are happy.
I don’t know how to express my gratitude to them.
I'm going to my hometown to take care of my sister
and her husband.
See you in March.

(帰国)
On Feb. 10 I got up very early in the morning.
We left the hotel at 4:30am and hurried to the airport.
Will the plane fly? I wondered.
The blizzard had struck Eastern part of America the day before.
Many airports had been closed, I heard.
How lucky we were!
The weather was improving.
It took 3 hours from Miami to New York.
It took 14 hours from New York to Narita.
What a long way to Japan!
(Sudoku is very popular in America.)

I will cherish these pleasant memories of Caribbean Cruise
as long as I live.

(マイアミ観光)
After getting off MSC Poesia, we went sightseeing in Miami.
(lunch at a restaurant in Miami)
After lunch we went to Gator Parkin Everglades.
What an exciting place!
I enjoyed thrilling airboat ride in the nature.
We had dinner at the Crab House and
went to our hotel.

Now our cruise was about to end in Maiami.
On Feb. 8 our ship Poesia was sailing for Port Everglades
in Miami all day.
In the morning my friend and I attended some activities.
In the afternoon we started packing up our things.
In the evening we enjoyed our last dinner on board.
At night we went to the theatre and enjoyed the final stage.
The next morning, on Feb. 9 I saw the sun rising
when our ship Poesia arrived at Port Everglades in Miami.
My seven nights Caribbean cruise was over.

Our bus was running downtown.
On the way I took some pictures.
(Sam Sharpe)
Sam Sharpe is a National Hero of Jamaica.
He was the slave leader and fought for freedom.
We arrived at a café restaurant in Montego Bay.
I had a glass of juice
From there I enjoyed a panoramic view of the Jamaican
coastline.
After that we did some shopping in Montego Bay.
We returned to our ship by 1:00pm.
When I entered my cabin, I was happy to find a towel crain
which our cabin staff had created!
How kind and clever of him!

(ジャマイカ・モンテゴベイ観光・・・1)
On Feb.7 I saw a glorious sunrise on Deck 13.
Our final port of call was Falmouth in Jamaica.
We arrived at Port Falmouth at 8:00am.
Oh, Jamaica!
You remember the Olympics gold medal player Bolt
comes from Jamaica.
Jamaica reminded me of an old singer Harry Belafonte.
He is a Jamaican American.
In my high school days, my English teacher often taught
us his songs in class.
I remember Harry Belafonte’s ‘Jamaica Farewell’
’The Banana Boat’ ‘Mama, Look at bubu’or
'Come Back, Liza.’
Oh! my good old days!
A Japanese lady, whose husband is a Cuban and lives
in Jamaica for 18 years, showed us around Falmouth
and Montego Bay.
First, we visited St. Peter’s Anglican Church.
Many things were sold next to the church.
Then our guide took us to the Rose Hall Great House
in Montego Bay.
This is a historic Jamaica plantation mansion.
There is a legend that the spirit of “Annie” haunts there.

(グランドケイマン・ジョージタウン・・・2)
At the place named Hell we got off our bus.
Why is it called Hell?
We did some shopping there.
Then we went to Turtle Farm.
We came back to our ship Poesia early in the evening.
