Dear harusumi-san,
An English poet P.B.Shelly says in his poem
"Ode to the West Wind" that “If Winter comes,
can Spring be far behind?”
And those who live in the heavy snowfall area
are all looking forward to spring, sayi ng to themselves
Shelley’s this famous sentence.
When I had to work to live, I was always at a loss
what to do with a heavy snowfall.
It is a very hard work to clear snow.
My neighbors were kind enough to help me clear away
the heavy snow in front of my garage every morning.
Without their help, I could not have survived the long winter..
It’s extremely humid in summer in Niigata
and I remember being very ill during the summer.
So, in Niigata I do not like either summer or winter.
Now that I live in Tokyo, I love Every season here(^^).
By the way, you had a wonderful time at Araiyakushi, didn’t you?
I’d like to join and enjoy mamemaki at a temple or a shrine someday.
Yes, I did eat some beans but not so many beans as my age.(^^).
Looking forward to next Grand Sumo Tournament!
Have a nice weekend.
Thank you.
